Best Book of Summer
If you have not heard of this book yet, I highly suggest you give it a read. I have always been an educator that values student choice, but this book has made me reconsider how to truly allow students to own their learning. The goal of the curriculum found on this website is to provide equity and access to the NGSS for all students through student-directed differentiation. This means that not all students are going to learn the same way, need the same supports, or take the same amount of time. We want to build students who know how to own their learning and be innovative in their work through making their own decisions. These skills will forever help them in their future.
